Anjanette Velazco

Ms. Velazco immigrated to USA in 1995, her strong Peruvian heritage has helped her to join multiple organizations and to maintain alive Peruvian traditions. While she was collaborating with organizations, she obtained her Master degree on Business Administration and Data Analysis Certification.

Now, Ms. Velazco is the Municipal ID Program Director of The City of Philadelphia. The identification card that provides a secure and affordable photo identification card for anyone living in Philadelphia, age 13 and older.
Prior to employment with the City of Philadelphia, Ms. Velazco served as Immunization Outreach Program Coordinator for CONCILIO serving children and families of all communities, providing educational information, resources and explaining the importance of preventive vaccination for children.

Ms. Velazco has dedicated also many years to help the community, specially the Peruvian-American community, including but not limited to, organizations, businesses and entrepreneurs. She is an active participant/ volunteer at La Hermandad del Señor de los Milagros – Philadelphia.
