2026 announcement of scholars
The number of applications to PATHere’s 2026 scholarships from Peruvian-American students from the region has been unprecedented.
With much gratitude to each of our members and generous donors, this year and with much effort, PATHere.org can recognize the merits of four (4) candidates whose efforts, resiliency, and dedication to their studies and voluntary community service are exceptional.
PATHere.org is pleased to announce its 2026 scholars:
- Amaro Alvaro Galliani
- Lucas Alonzo Ferrández
- Dereck Joshua Alegría
- Nicolás Mavila
Mr. Galliani, graduate of Bloomsburg High School, will study social work at the University of Pittsburgh this fall. Mr. Ferrández from Bensalem High School, will attend the University of Pennsylvania, College of Arts and Sciences this August. Mr. Alegría from Franklin High School in New Jersey, will study political science at Northwestern University. Mr. Mavila of Lower Merion High School will attend Purdue University, where he will study aeronautical engineering.
PATHere.org thanks the collaboration of each of its 2026 scholarship selection committee members, Yunelli Cervera, BBA, Pilar Maraví, Ph.D., and Katherine Sibel, MSUP.
Congratulations to our 2026 scholars and their families. PATHere.org wishes much success in their university studies to Amaro, Lucas, Dereck, and Nicolás.
El número de solicitudes para las becas del 2026 de PATHere.org de jóvenes estudiantes peruano-estadounidenses de la región ha sido sin precedente.
Con muchísimo agradecimiento a cada uno de nuestros miembros y generosos donadores, este año y con mucho esfuerzo, PATHere.org puede reconocer los méritos de cuatro (4) postulantes cuyo esmero, resilencia y dedicación al estudio y servicio comunitario voluntario son excepcionales.

El Sr. Galliani, graduado de Bloomsburg High School, empezará sus estudios de trabajo social en la University of Pittsburgh este otoño. El Sr. Ferrández, de Bensalem High School, se unirá a la University of Pennsylvania para estudiar en la facultad de artes y ciencias este agosto. El Sr. Alegría de Franklin High School en Nueva Jersey, estudiará ciencias políticas en Northwestern University. El Sr. Mavila de Lower Merion High School se unirá a Purdue University para seguir estudios de ingeniería aeronáutica.
